In my quest to enhance my business and learn more about blogging, websites, online learning, and just new things about myself, I am hoping to share some great blogs and posts I have found that others have written. The internet is a magical place with endless possibilities and more information than you will ever be able to use in your lifetime. Twenty years ago I sat at a typewriter finishing research papers for biology class and never dreamed that I would be sitting here today with more knowledge than I ever thought was possible to find unless I had spent hours in the stacks at the college library (oh yes did plenty of that!). I still prefer a book in my hand but growing an online business means contacts and communication with others, LOTS of communication.
Today I landed on a great site written by Penelope Trunk, Founder of the Brazen Careerist. Her wit and enthusiasm for her work really caught my attention. Go check her blog out today and read some great articles on “8 Tips for Anger Management.” She has some good advice many of us will find useful!
We are now over a week into the new year, 2010. I find it hard to believe we have landed at this point in time, the last 10 years have been a blur. Many people had a rough 2009, economically, socially, and personally and the energy for 2010 already feels better. Learning Design Group, LLC is going through a makeover and will reveal some new features very soon. I started this new blog to have new energy for my business and find new connections to others with amazing energy that I am seeking out in 2010. Education is a way to grow and enhance our lives and this year will bring new learning opportunities. Please continue to check back in and link to this blog. I would love to link to your blog if you have passion and enthusiasm for learning and growth. Here’s to a new year and new learnings for all of us.

Check out this wonderful video I found by Sir Ken Robinson about creativity. He has a great sense of humor but really hits some important points about our current education system.
Great video from Sir Ken Robinson at the TED conference discussing the role of creative individuals who do not fit into the tradition mode of learning in schools.
